When Engineers Design AGI, Who Gets Left Behind?

Inspirited AI is an Applied Research Lab building Empathetic AGI. We believe the next great leap in AI will not come from models with improved coding and logical abilities, but from AI systems that center, anticipate, and act on human needs.

The Human-AI Frontier

We define the Human-AI Frontier as the interaction boundary between human and AI systems. As the surface area between humans and AI grows, the winning foundation models must be able to effectively anticipate and understand human needs.

Leading models from frontier labs continue to make breakthroughs in coding benchmarks. These models have become the best engineers embedded at every organization, but we are witnessing an unprecedented regression in conversational capability and empathy.

As Voice Agent experts, we have felt firsthand the spirit that is lost when every new model is trained to be the best engineer in the world. Building incredible user experiences requires foundational intelligence that can translate human needs into machine actions.

Empathy as Science

We believe building empathy requires innovation across three dimensions:

  • People: A team composed of experts in AI development alongside experts in humanity — nurses, creatives, salespeople, and others with the training to deeply perceive and process human emotions.

  • Product: Agentic systems that both feel good and do good. AI trained not only to solve problems, but also to advocate on behalf of humans.

  • Processes: Rigorous, empathy-specific benchmarks, data collection, and reinforcement learning loops that allow exceptionally high EQ individuals to encode their values into AI systems.

Solving the Human-AI frontier will unlock a world of abundance. We are building for a future where Empathetic AI serves as the foundational technology behind Voice Agent integrations, human-robotic interfaces, personal companions, and creative collaborators.
